Well I am creating my very first blog. I know...I'm the last person on the planet to start blogging, but better late than never. Guess I'll start slow, with what's going on in my life today. Seems like a logical place to start.
Yesterday our daughter Kristen and her husband Erik had a 9lb 5oz bouncing baby boy. Well, he's not bouncing yet, but he's definitely chubby enough to do so at any given moment. He doesn't have a name yet, so we are just calling him "baby" for now. Mother and baby are both doing well considering. Kristen isn't even 4'10" tall and had a baby that weighed almost 10 pounds. A c-section was necessary and she is still in pain, but the joy of new motherhood overshadows any discomfort at the moment. Plus the hospital is keeping her pretty medicated, so she is a little "goofy" for the time being.
We are unpacking our latest shipment of Brown Bag Party products that were sold at our last party. I just love when the FedEx man comes to the door. It's like Christmas every day! My husband Bobby and I are both consultants with BBP and we both do in-hone parties for groups of women and/or couples. These parties are a hoot! Gotta be the best job in the whole wide world.
Guess I'll check in the order then head up for a shower and off to see "baby". Not very interesting yet...but you never know what will happen in the life of Excentric Cheri :)
